Children’s Voices Centre (CVC) Children’s Advisory Panels
Representatives from the Children’s Voices Centre (CVC) Children’s Advisory Group share their perspectives and learnings from participating in national and international projects through two key panel discussions. Speaking together from the Charles Sturt University television studio, the children reflect on what they learned through designing, participating in, and analysing children’s drawings from around the world in Children Drawn Health Project. The children also share from their experiences developing a submission to the review of the Australian Disability Discrimination Act. Across both panel discussions, the children have important key messages to share in the hopes of creating a more inclusive world for all children. The panel presentations are introduced by Associate Professor Kathy Cologon, who has the privilege of working closely with the children throughout the work of the Children’s Advisory Group.
